At Ber-vaughn Park in Berwick, residents can picnic, swim or play softball, among other activities. Briar Creek Lake is also an excellent place to go for outdoor activities.

Another option for hours of family-friendly entertainment is Knoebels Amusement Park, a mere 28 miles away. For the past eight decades, the free-admission park has been thrilling its patrons, who come from near and far to enjoy the park’s variety of rides.
