Life in the Greater Berwick Area just wouldn't be the same without
the passion our residents share for local culture and the arts.
From galleries, plays and movies to concerts and choirs, our area
has a history of supporting a variety of traditional and contemporary
cultural and artistic events.
Each summer at city hall in Berwick, residents from all over enjoy
a range of musical styles at the Summer Concert Series.
In the spring and fall, the Berwick Downtown Business Association
sponsors two popular downtown festivals: the All-American
Day in May and Fall for Berwick in September.
Area universities and civic organizations are always sponsoring
a variety of artistic events and theatrical and musical productions,
as well.
The Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble, operating out of a renovated
movie theatre is one of the nation's few professional resident
theater ensembles.
If you like pop music, you can catch
internationally famous music acts, at the Ford
Pavilion at Montage Mountain.
The Wachovia
Arena, the F.M. Kirby
Center for the Performing Arts, the Northeastern
Pennsylvania Philharmonic, the Scranton
Cultural Center and several theatres, museums, libraries and art
galleries are all nearby and further enrich the region's quality
of life.
